Tight Penile Foreskin(Phimosis) Surgery
Phimosis is a condition in which the foreskin of the penis becomes too tight to be pulled back over the head (glans) of the penis.

                    Causes
                    There are two main types:

                        - Physiological Phimosis – Common in children; usually resolves naturally with age.

                        - Pathological Phimosis – Occurs due to conditions like poor hygiene, eczema, psoriasis, or Balanitis Xerotica Obliterans (BXO).

                    Symptoms

                        - Redness or discoloration (especially if infected)

                        - Swelling or inflammation

                        - Pain during erection or sexual activity

                        - Pain while urinating (dysuria)

                    Treatment

                        - Physiological phimosis usually improves with age. If it persists or causes issues, conservative treatment may be tried.

                        - Pathological phimosis in adults may initially be treated with steroid creams or anaesthetic gels along with gentle stretching.

If conservative methods fail, surgery is the definitive treatment. Options include:

                        - Laser Circumcision

                        - Stapler Circumcision

                        - Conventional Circumcision
These are typically day-care procedures with minimal recovery time.
